Sega's answer to Final Fight: three ex-cops (Axel, Blaze, Adam) clean up a city overrun by Mr. X's syndicate. Yuzo Koshiro's thumping synth soundtrack and a special-attack 'call in the police mortar strike' button made it one of the Genesis era's defining games.
